Send a message to your Automatio agent in Telegram to search your inbox or view your schedule. The agent uses your connected Google apps to retrieve information and presents it as formatted text in your private chat.

How it works

Connect Google apps
Log in to the Automatio web app and use the Integrations section to connect your Gmail and Google Calendar accounts.

Link Telegram bot
Navigate to Chat apps, select the Telegram tile, and click Connect to receive a one-time link valid for 10 minutes.

Start the chat
Tap Start in the Telegram bot to finalize the connection between your accounts.

Request information
Message the bot to ask about your emails or calendar; tap Approve if the agent asks to perform a risky action like sending a reply.

What you get

The agent returns a summary of your requested emails or a list of upcoming calendar events. Text is formatted with bold and italics for clarity, and tables appear as fixed-width text blocks.

If the agent needs to perform an action, such as drafting a reply or creating an event, it presents an Approve button. You should verify the details in the message before tapping the button to proceed. Every response includes an Open in Automatio button to view the full chat on the web.

Good to know

You must connect Gmail and Google Calendar in the Automatio web app before the Telegram bot can access them.
Risky actions like sending an email or deleting an event require you to tap an Approve button rather than typing a text confirmation.
The bot only operates in private messages and does not function in Telegram groups or channels.
A run requires at least 100 credits from your Automatio account to start.

Questions

Can I approve an email draft by typing a message?

No, the agent only accepts approvals through the dedicated Approve button. Typing text will not authorize the agent to send an email or modify your calendar.

Does this work in a group chat with my team?

Automatio for Telegram only works in private one-on-one chats with the bot. If added to a group, the bot will state that it only functions in a private chat.

Where are my email attachments stored?

When you ask the agent to process files from your Gmail, they are copied to your Automatio files and count toward your plan's storage limit.

How do I disconnect my Google accounts?

Manage or remove your Gmail and Calendar connections through the Integrations page in your Automatio web account. Disconnecting them there will stop the Telegram agent from accessing that data.
