Automatio is an MCP client too. Bring any remote MCP server into your Automatio chats.
Paste its address under Integrations, MCP, with no sign-in, an API key or OAuth, and choose which of its tools Automatio may use.
Ask for a capability and the agent can search the public MCP registry and suggest a server. Connecting it stays your call.
Turn on Allow outside chat and the server's tools are available to your own scripts and apps on Automatio as well.
The Model Context Protocol is the standard way AI apps plug in outside tools. Automatio runs an MCP server, so an app like Claude or Cursor can call Automatio's web search, page reader and screenshot tools while it answers you.
Any app that can add a remote MCP server over HTTP. Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code with Copilot, Codex, Gemini CLI, Zed and Perplexity all can. The setup guides above have the steps for each.
Signing in is the simplest, works in every app including ChatGPT, and gives the five core tools. An Automatio API key sent as a header gives the larger set, with Reddit, YouTube, X, idealista, Apify and image tools. ChatGPT accepts sign-in only.
Each call uses Automatio credits: 1 for a search or a page read, 2 for a screenshot, 3 to 5 for the crypto tools. Connecting and listing the tools is free, and every response says what the call cost.
No. It can call the tools you allowed and nothing else. It never sees your chats, files or saved keys.
Revoke the connection under Integrations, API keys, where it shows as the app's name with (OAuth), or remove the server in the app. Revoking ends its access at once.
Not yet. Add it as a custom connector with the server address, as the guides show.
