Fact-check a forwarded message with Automatio for Telegram
Forward any Telegram message to your agent and ask it to verify the claims. Your agent uses its search and research tools to provide a source-backed analysis of the content.

How it works

Connect your account
In Automatio, go to Integrations, then Chat apps, and select the Telegram tile. Tap Connect to open the bot with a one-time link and tap Start to link your account.

Forward the message
Select the message you want to verify in any Telegram chat and forward it to your private Automatio bot.

Add your request
Type your instructions in the caption field of the forwarded message, such as asking the agent to verify specific facts, before you send it.

Review the research
A Working on it message will update with the steps taken. Once finished, the agent replies with its findings and the sources it used for the verification.
What you get
The agent returns a message that breaks down the claims in the forwarded text. It uses its search and read tools to find evidence, listing what is confirmed and what is potentially false. The reply includes the sources found and an Open in Automatio button to view the full interaction on the web. Since this is a forwarded message from another user, the agent operates with read-only tools to maintain security and does not access your private connected apps.

- Messages forwarded from other people run with read-only tools such as search and reading websites.
- The bot only works in private chats and cannot be used in groups or channels.
- Word and Excel files are not supported for verification or analysis.
- Each run requires at least 100 credits in your Automatio account to begin.

Questions
Can the agent access my personal data when I forward a message?
No. When you forward a message from someone else, the agent is restricted to read-only tools for safety. It can search the web and read public links, but it cannot access your connected apps like Gmail or Calendar for that specific task.
Does the bot see who originally sent the message?
The bot only receives the content you send or forward to it. It does not have access to the original sender's profile or the group chat history where the message originated.
Can I fact-check a forwarded video or audio file?
You can forward videos in mp4 or webm formats up to 20 MB. Audio files like mp3 or wav are also accepted, but the bot cannot process voice notes today. Add a caption asking the agent to research the context of the media you sent.
What happens if the verification takes a long time?
The bot displays a Working on it message that updates with the elapsed time and the specific tools being used. You can tap the Check status button at any time to see the current progress of the agent's research.
