Log data to Google Sheets every day with Automatio

You can ask the agent to fetch specific information from the web or your email and add it to a spreadsheet on a recurring schedule. The agent creates a plan, sets a credit budget, and appends a new row for every successful run.

Every morning at 9:00 AM, search the web for the current gold price per ounce and the daily change percentage. Append these two values as a new row in my spreadsheet at [Link to your Google Sheet].

How it works

    Connect Google Sheets

    Go to Integrations in Automatio, select the Google Drive & Sheets tile, and sign in with your Google account.

    Send your request

    In the chat, describe the data you want to fetch and specify the schedule, such as "every morning" or "every Friday."

  3. 3

    Review the plan

    The agent will propose a plan including the schedule and a credit budget. It creates the automation in a paused state.

  4. 4

    Resume the automation

    Go to the Automations page in the sidebar and press Resume to start the schedule, or ask the agent to resume it in the chat.

What you get

Every day at the scheduled time, the agent fetches the data and appends it to the next available row in your spreadsheet. You will receive a report of the run directly in the chat where you created the automation.

You can verify the new data by opening your Google Sheet. If a run is skipped, check the Automations page to ensure your credit balance is above the required threshold.

Good to know

  • Automations are skipped if your credit balance falls below 1,000 credits.
  • Scheduled runs must be at least 5 minutes apart.
  • The agent cannot format cells, add charts, or create new tabs in an existing sheet.
  • Appending a row costs 1 credit on top of the AI's usage for that run.

Questions

How much does a daily log cost?

Each time the agent appends a row, it costs 1 credit. This is in addition to the credits used by the AI model to perform the research or read your files.

Can I stop the daily updates?

Yes, you can stop the logs at any time by pressing Pause on the Automations page in the sidebar. You can also ask the agent in the chat to pause the automation for you.

What happens if I run out of credits?

The automation will be skipped whenever your balance is under 1,000 credits. It will not attempt to run again until the next scheduled time after your balance is restored.

Is my spreadsheet data safe?

Automatio follows the Google API Services User Data Policy. Your data is not used to train AI models, and access is managed through an integration service token.
