Models
Choosing the AI model behind a chat.
The model picker is in the chat composer, right of the agent panel button; the model's name shows when the composer is wide, and on a phone or in a narrow panel only an icon shows, with the name on hover. It has a search box, and filters for what a model can do: Sees images, Sees video, Reads files, Makes images and Makes video.
Which model a chat uses
Your pick becomes the default for your new chats. A chat with messages keeps the model it was on, and you can change it in that chat at any time.
A model you cannot afford at the moment is greyed out, and hovering over it says so.
Cost
A model's price is a large part of what a task costs, because every step is charged at it. See Plans and credits.
Fine tuning
In a chat with the Tools switch off, a Model Parameters button appears, with settings such as temperature and maximum output.
