Automatio

Quick start

Your first chat, and what happens while the agent works.

Your first chat

  1. Create a free account at automatio.ai/register. New accounts get 500 credits once, when the email is verified (details).
  2. Type what you want done in the message box, the way you would ask a person. "Find the ten biggest coffee chains in Spain and put them in a table" is enough.
  3. Send it. The agent plans the steps and starts working, and you can watch each step in the chat.

You do not choose tools or write commands. The agent picks what it needs. When it needs an account you have not connected, such as Gmail, the chat shows a card with a Connect button.

While it works

Each step costs credits, and a large task can take many steps. See Plans and credits.

You can keep typing while the agent works, and it reads your message at its next step. To end the work, press Stop the agent. Chats has the details.

After a reply

Under each finished reply is the row of small icons under a finished reply: Copy, Read aloud (when the reply has text), Upvote Response, Downvote Response, Report a problem (a flag) and Turn cost & usage (opens a small box with what that turn cost); it is not drawn while the agent is still working.

Finding your way around

The sidebar is on the left, for signed-in people; a phone keeps it closed until the panel icon at the top left ("Open sidebar" to a screen reader) is tapped. From the top: the New chat button, with a small chevron beside it ("More ways to start") that opens a menu with Multi-chat, and a magnifier icon (Search chats); then Canvas (open your canvases), Automations (scheduled agent tasks), Files (browse uploaded and downloaded files), Sites (websites you have deployed), Deployments (servers and apps you are running) and Integrations (connected accounts and API keys); at the bottom Report a problem, your credits, and the account menu.

If something goes wrong

Use Report a problem: the button at the bottom of the sidebar, or the flag icon under a reply; the account menu's Bug Reports opens the list of the reports you already sent. A report includes what you wrote, a pointer to the conversation and details of the run, so you do not need to explain how to find it.
